SELF ACCEPTANCE – “realizing that we are accepted by God and loved unconditionally.” When we realize how deeply we are loved by God the more we can love and accept ourselves by allowing ourselves to accept those unchangeable physical features and situations that God has made, which allows us to focus on the more important things such as character, holy living, loving and serving other people. (II. Corinthians 12:9-10), “ And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”
